Air eDNA sampling is an emerging technique for monitoring terrestrial biodiversity by capturing DNA present in the air. We are currently undertaking research and development on passive air sampling devices that collect DNA using cloth filters. These samplers can be secured to trees, posts, or other structures using occy or tie-down straps.

• Occy or tie-down/ratchet straps (or similar) for securing devices to trees or posts

• Star pickets or poles if no trees are available at the sampling site

• Ladder for devices secured above 2 m
